September saw the Jean Hailes for Women’s Health 2018 Women’s Health Week, which encouraged women to put their health and wellbeing first, something that many women fail to do, preferring to care for others first and themselves last.

 Here's a gentle exercise for the mums and mums to be. It activates your lower back, core, glutes and hamstrings. Simply form a bridge, gently draw up your pelvic floor and pull your tummy towards your spine, lift your bottom off the floor and hold for 2 seconds, gently lower down to the floor and relax. Repeat 3 lots of 10. Gentle exercises, like this one, can be done daily.
